This is a gadget developed by Google and Asus, a Taiwan’s computer manufacturer. The idea is to plug this gadget into any TV or gadget with a display, and you will have a personal computer (PC). The best characteristic is its size. Asus Chromebit should be smaller than a candy bar. It will be available in a couple of months, and it will have a price of $100. Asus Chromebit has a Rockchip RK3288 processor and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage has a capacity of 16GB.

Google also announced that they will start making laptops. They will be low-cost Chromebook laptop computers, developed in a partnership with Haier and Hisense, Chinese electronic groups.

Those laptops should be also cheap. According to Google, their price is $149! Currently, Haier computers are sold through Amazon. It has a display of 11.6 inches, which isn’t much, but it is a perfect solution for those who spend a lot of time on Facebook or other social media services. On the other side, you can buy Hisense PC at Walmart.
This is a very smart solution! It is very easy to use and very effective. It is the best for schools, business and people who travel a lot.

According to some experts, this is the future of laptops. Google is producing its devices with other manufacturers. Some of them are Acer, Dell, LG and Lenovo. The main rival of the Asus Chromebit is Intel Compute Stick, which offers the same features using Linux and Windows 8.1 OS.
