Even though Motorola are yet to unveil their third-generation Moto G, an Indian based e-commerce website has already set up a page for the Moto G (Gen 3).
Motorola’s exclusive online retail partner in India, Flipkart, has already listed the handset. This appears to be a very early placeholder listing given the fact that the listing does not include images of the handset and to add on to that it also misses out on almost all the handset’s specifications. The only piece of information that the listing reveals is that the handset will come with an 8GB in-built storage option and will be available in color white. Given all this revelation we believe that the listing might be pulled very soon.
According to the listing of the Indian based e-commerce site, the Moto G (Gen 3) handset will feature model number AP3560AD1K8. In contrast, the model number for Moto G first generation came with a XT1033 model number while the second Moto G generation came with a XT1068 model number. The listing was first spotted by Gadgetraid.
In terms of specification, it is being rumored that the Moto G (Gen 3) will have a 64-bit 1.7GHz Snapdragon 610 processor as well as a 4G LTE support, 5 Inch or 5.2 Inch display which is full HD and 2GB of RAM.
Rick Osterloh, Motorola’s president, confirmed in March this year that his company is working on ensuring that it does maintain an annual product cycle. Thus it is expected that the company might reveal the next generation of Moto X probably in September.
